Education:  BS from Texas Western College in 1965.  MBA from Auburn University in 1979.
 
Air Force Career:  Commissioned in 1965,  Initial career field was aircraft maintenance for 5 years. 

Pilot training in 1970.  Initial assignment to the 18th MAS at McGuire in C-141's.  4 years as an Instructor pilot in T-37's at Williams AFB.  4 years as an instructor at the Air Command and Staff College.  Assigned Charleston AFB in the 41st MAS in 1981. 

Retired in 1988.
 
Rank: Lt Colonel
 
Interesting assignments:  Commander of first group of Women to go through USAF pilot training in 1976.  Commander of Charleston Air Lift Control Element (ALCE) from 1982-1985.

Second Career:  Pilot for Continental Air Lines from 1989 to 2002.

Wife: Mary I. Osborn

Hobbies:  Working on my 1952 Ford Convertible and flying for the Civil Air Patrol.
